At Hudson River Trading Company in Mechanicville, NY, my wife Cathy and I have been buying and selling guns, including antique firearms and military souvenirs, for about fifty years. My name is David Petronis, and we also have a Show Promotion Business known as NEACA, Inc., which you can learn about elsewhere. But here and now, we would like to introduce you collectors to some of our products, including Winchester collectibles, and we hope you enjoy the journey.
The Colt Model 1873 SAA in .44-40 caliber features a 7 1/2" barrel with an Etched Barrel and has been fully restored by David Lanara. This antique firearm, serial number 56444, has a Colt letter confirming its shipment date as July 21, 1880, to Hartley & Graham as one of 50 guns in that shipment. While the barrel length and type of stocks are recorded as 'not listed,' the finish was blue. This particular gun, a prized piece among military souvenirs and a great addition to any Winchester collectibles collection, has been meticulously restored to its original configuration by David Lanara of Ohio.
